Groundwork started in a tiny garage roaster on Division Street with one belief: coffee should be an experience, not just a caffeine delivery system. We source directly from farmers we know by name across three continents.

Every bean is roasted in-house in small batches, profiled to bring out the character of its origin. Whether it's a bright Ethiopian natural or a rich Colombian washed, we let the coffee speak for itself.

Washed process from a women-led cooperative. Sweet, clean, and incredibly versatile.

Volcanic soil, high altitude, old-world charm. Rich and full-bodied with a cocoa finish.

We source directly from farmers in Ethiopia, Colombia, and Guatemala. Every bean is traceable to the farm it came from.

In-House Roasting

Our Probat roaster fires up three times a week. Small batches mean peak freshness in every bag and every cup.

Community Space

More than a coffee shop — we host weekly cuppings, barista workshops, and live music. Pull up a chair and stay a while.
